In loving memory of

It is with broken hearts that we mourn the passing of our dear little Coco.  At 17, she enjoyed many years in fun and reverie with her pack on our Happydogz Retreat.

Our eternal gratefulness to Dr. Bos and everyone who cared for Coco - even through her meeting with a coyote.  Your dedication certainly made all the difference in making Coco feel loved and special.

Coco, you will be missed:

Be at my side as your breath becomes weak

My loyal companion and canine friend

We ran in the fields and played in the stream

As time was nigh and willed no end

But for you now the minute is seasoned and worn

And my friendship as guardian trusted and true

So there may you travel amidst this sad storm

To a place in the heavens where your spirit is new

Find your spot in the buttercups as you did once with me

You were strong and enduring and endlessly brave

Surviving life’s perils so stoically

And never withholding the love that you gave

And so now be peaceful and gently please rest

I will lay you to sleep at your favourite tree

So the angels will carry you to be blessed

And be safe for all of eternity

The shadows of evening lengthen about me, but morning is in my heart.

Dr. Bos, Melissa and Sherri provided loving care and support for our beloved dog, Gus through surgery, illness and ultimately death.  They were as tender and caring towards us as we grieved whilst giving Gus the best of all possible care.  No praise is high enough for the Balfour Animal Hospital.

Oh my baby Hunter...I miss you so much.  You gave me more then I could even return.  They say that a dog is only a creature on the planet that will love you more then itself, and I can tell you without hesitation that you proved that time and time again.  You came into my life in my arms, and you left this life in my arms, and every moment in between and forever more you will be in my heart.  I love you, I miss you and I can't wait to see you again.

Love you always, Daddy

Dear Roxy,

We love you so much. You were quite a character. Everyone who met you, loved you. You didn't bark unless you were hungry. Then you would stomp your foot and demand your meal. You loved your walks with Mommy and Daddy. What a brave girl you were when you had some eyelid surgery and your toe surgery! Roadie misses you terribly as do we. He seems lost without you. We will treasure every memory we have of you. You will not be forgotten. Thank you for your kisses and your love. Jesus loves you, good girl!

Love, Mommy, Daddy, Quentin and Roadie
